Laura Ramus,
PT,ATC

Laura was an Athletic Trainer the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and the 1994 United States Paralympic swim team. She served as the Head Athletic Trainer and Strength Coach for 16 Seasons with the WNBA Detroit Shock and New York Liberty and Physical Therapist/Athletic Trainer with the Women’s Professional Tennis Association. She is currently a Senior Physical Therapist at the Detroit Medical Center and a Medical Advisory Board Member for Quest Diagnostics Blue Print for Athletes. Laura has 29 years of experience treating orthopedic/sports medicine injuries in professional, collegiate, high school and amateur athletes. Laura received a BS in Physical Therapy from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan in 1987. She then completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine through the University of North Carolina and Health South Rehabilitation Corporation, training under prominent orthopedic surgeon James Andrews and physical therapist Kevin Wilk.
