Robert Marsico,
PT,EdD,OCS

Dr. Marsico has been a Physical Therapist since 1994 after earning his PT degree from Rutgers University/UMDNJ. He continued his education by earning a doctorate in education in applied physiology from Columbia University in 2002. He is also an Orthopedic Certified Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Currently, Dr. Marsico is an Assistant Professor at Stockton University. He is also the owner of Galloway Orthopedic Physical Therapy (GO PT) in Galloway, NJ. For the past four years, he has used HawkGrips to perform IASTM in his clinic. In 2015, Dr. Marsico was awarded the prestigious James Tucker Excellence in Clinical Practice Award by the American Physical Therapy Association of New Jersey. He has been published in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, Journal of Spinal Cord Medicine, International Journal of Yoga, American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Clinical Cases in Physical Therapy. In 2016, Dr. Marsico wrote a chapter in Michlovitz’s Modalities for Therapeutic Intervention. He has taught continuing education courses on Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and Interdisciplinary Approach to Orthopedic Care. Dr. Marsico finds the interaction with clinicians during CE course instruction to be very rewarding.
