Dawn T.Gulick,
PT,phD,ATC,CSCS

Dr. Dawn T. Gulick is a Professor of Physical Therapy at Widener University in Chester, PA. She earned a bachelor’s of science degree in athletic training from Lock Haven University (Lock Haven, PA), a master’s of physical therapy degree from Emory University (Atlanta), and a doctorate in exercise physiology from Temple University (Philadelphia). She has been teaching for over 20 years, and her areas of expertise are orthopedics, sports medicine, modalities, and medical screening. As a clinician, Dr. Gulick has owned a private orthopedic/sports medicine practice. She also provides athletic training services at a variety of levels, including past experiences at several Olympics and Paralympics. As a scholar, Dr. Gulick is the author of four books (Ortho Notes, Screening Notes, Sport Notes, Mobilization Notes), four book chapters, over 50 articles in peer-reviewed publications, and more than 100 professional and civic presentations. She is the developer of a mobile app called iOrtho+ (Apple, Android, and PC versions) and is also working on patenting a medical device. Dr. Gulick has been using IASTM for several years and has published manuscripts on the technique.
